Statement on Land Day: March 30th, 2005
Land Day marks the beginning of March 1976 when the Israeli Labor party government, with Prime Minister Isaac Rabin, took the decision to confiscate hundreds of square kilometers of 'Sakhnin' city farms, an Arabic city inside the green line that was occupied in 1948. On this day we issued a statement and invited everyone to join in Land Day activities.
