Areen Qumsieh a member in the youth group of the JAI (Youth for Peace and Development)  and Yazan Al-Zubaidy the youth program officer, participated in a program organized by the Yglobal for 12 days, the Global week, and the TT festival.

The Global Week
Overview:

This year the theme of the global week was about how youth can make a difference with the participation of 56 participants from 13 different countries in the world, and all the workshops were addressed to give youth the skills to change, and the campaign that the participants were preparing to launch at the TT festival was Stop Poverty.

JAI Youth Participation:

Workshops:

The participants from the JAI held 2 advocacy workshops in the global week named (tools of advocacy), where there were some ice-breaking activities, what is the meaning of advocacy, some tools of advocacy, and debating skills.

The YMCA fair:
In the YMCA fair, all the YMCAs YWCA presented their work and what they do with the society, as for the JAI all the work of the JAI was presented in terms of publications, campaigns, and all the promotional materials, moreover the work of the East Jerusalem YMCA and YWCA of Palestine were presented.

TT festival:
Overview

The TT festival is the largest teenagers' festival in Norway, this year with 1600 participants from Norway the theme of the festival was Faith, Hope, and Love.

JAI participation:
Workshop:

In the TT a workshop was held about how to influence, and to talk about Palestinian situation under the occupation, moreover to talk about the JAI work.
Participation in a workshop under the theme of "how we can make a change", where the youth program officer talked about the Keep Hope Alive campaign.
