ref nasir2016Nasir Al-Azraq is a 47 years old farmer who also works for the public sector. He has a family of 6 members and living in the town of Doha, in Bethlehem area.

Nasir owns a land of 8 dunums (1 dunum = 1,000 square meter) in the area of Cremisan, Beit Jala town, west of the Bethlehem district.

The Israeli colony (settlement) of Gilo was constructed 500 meters away from his field, and threaten it with expansion, confiscation, especially with the newly resumption of the construction of the Israeli Apartheid Wall in that area.

In February 2016, the Olive Tree Campaign supported Nasir with 80 sponsored olive trees. At the same day, after planting the trees, settlers came, uprooted the trees and threw them outside the field, claiming that his land is an "Israeli State Land", where they also plan to establish a settlers’ national park, on Nasir and adjacent land!
