Ireland's decision to advance boycott bill could be the tipping point for justice for Palestine
 The Palestinian people are in need of some good news to boost their morale at an extremely difficult time in their struggle for freedom, justice and equality.
There has been little good news, particularly since US President Trump took office, recognised Jerusalem as capital of Israel, moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv in record time, defunded UNRWA and leaks of his "ultimate deal" for resolving the conflict indicated it could not be accepted by the Palestinian people.
Palestinians in Gaza continue to march to the fence separating them from their occupiers to demand that they be allowed to return peacefully to their homes on the other side. Their peaceful endeavour has been met with brutal force resulting in over 130 killed mostly by Israeli snipers and over 10,000 injured with some sustaining horrendous injuries and others losing limbs.

Episcopal Church in US adopts human rights investment screen on Palestine/Israel
 The Episcopal Peace Fellowship/Palestine-Israel Network (EPF PIN) is pleased to announce that today at its General Convention in Austin, Texas, the Episcopal Church adopted a human rights investment screen to avoid profiting from human rights abuses committed in Israel/Palestine.
Following a week of passionate discussion and debate, Resolution B016 was passed by the House of Deputies earlier this week before being approved today by the House of Bishops easily by a hand vote. It calls for the Executive Council's Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility "to develop criteria for Israel and Palestine based on a human rights' investment screen" similar to the one passed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 2016.

Israel launches 'its most painful strike' on Hamas since 2014
Israel's military carried out its largest airstrike campaign in Gaza since the 2014 war on Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, as Hamas militants launched more than 200 rockets and mortars before announcing a ceasefire.
Two Palestinian teenagers were killed in an strike in Gaza City, while three Israelis were wounded from a rocket that landed on a residential home.
Israel said its attacks were focused on hitting militant targets and warned Gaza civilians to keep their distance from certain sites. The tit-for-tat air strikes and projectile.
"The Israeli army delivered its most painful strike against Hamas since the 2014 war and we will increase the strength of our attacks as much as necessary," Netanyahu said.
