A 2-day program in Palestine with the JAI for a delegation if 27 students + 3 leaders from partner Danish Silkeborg High School.
They included an olive picking activity at a threatened field in Al-Makhrour valley, town of Beit Jala, followed by a presentation at Badil Center on the ongoing Israeli displacement of Palestinians and the right of return.
The next day was a stop at the Israeli Apartheid Wall inside Bethlehem, followed by a guided tour inside Hebron old city, where they witnessed some Israeli settlements, closures, checkpoints, closed Shuhada street and inside the divided Ibrahimi Mosque (Tombs of the Patriarchs).
