Campaign's field attacked in Turmus Aya village, olive trees uprooted

Talal Field1tTalal Ibrahim Jbara is a 73 years old farmer with 8 family members, who has a land of 5000 m2 of land in Turmus Aya village, north-east of the Ramallah area, reported that his olive trees were uprooted.

The Israeli colonies (settlements) of 'Shilo' and 'Aadi Ad', and the settlers' bypass road were constructed 300 meters close to Talal’s land. In January 2022, the Olive Tree Campaign supported Talal and his family with 125 olive trees sponsored by internationals to help them maintain their land.

Talal Field2tOn Monday, the 11th of July 2022, Talal went to irrigate his trees, and greet them for Eid Al-Adha, when he found them all uprooted, with the water tanks in the field damaged, fence surrounding his land cut. Talal believes that this was done by the Israeli settlers of the above mentioned settlements.

The JAI is dedicated to keep working with Talal and his family, and plan to support him for the next season with further olive trees, to encounter the Israeli measures, attacks and threats, and to Keep the family's Hope Alive.
